Bruce grew up in Orange Park, Forida where he graduated from Orange Park High School. Bruce later attended Mars Hill College near Asheville, NC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1986. After a very succesful stint as a Systems Analyst with The Prudential's South Central Home Office in Jacksonville, Fl.

He accepted a position at Village Motors and moved with his wife Angie and their newborn son Chad to Conover in the Summer of 1990. Bruce has spent the past 19+ years

trying toBruce Roffey change the landscape of the car business and the bruised reputation

of car salespeople all over the country.

While Bruce was a member of the Catawba Valley Rotary Club he served as Secretary, Sergent at Arms, Vice President, Editor and Publisher of the District Newsletter, and was President of the Club the year that the District's Best Small Club trophy was retired after being won by his club four years in a row! Bruce also served as President of the Conover Swimming Club (neighborhood pool) and helped charter both Cub Scout Pack 383, and Boy Scout Troop 383 in Conover.

Bruce was recently honored with The Lamb Award, a national recognition bestowed on Lutheran adults by The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod [LCMS]. The purpose of The Lamb Award is to acknowledge the distinguished service of Lutheran adults in fostering
the spiritual growth of youth through church and civic youth serving agency programs to increase the use and quality of the civic
agency programs in Lutheran congregations as a part of their ministries with youth. Since chartering Pack 383 in the early 1990's he has maintened a key leadership role while also chartering Troop 383 as the packs boys grew into Boy Scouts. Bruce currently serves as Chairman of the Pack and Troop Committees.

Bruce was honored to be elected Chairman of the School Board for Concordia Lutheran Church and Christian School after serving as the Vice-Chair and Secretary. He currently is serving as the Congregational Vice-President at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church in Conover, NC.

Bruce is an active member of a Leedom and Associates Twenty Group, a gathering of the top Independant Dealers from across the country. He has participated in many automotive, finance, and compliance related courses of study and siminars, is an active member of the Carolinas Independant Auto Dealers Association, serving on the North Carolina Legislative Committee, and is a respected member of several online Professional Dealer discusion groups.

Bruce has lived a few hundred yards from Village Motors in Conover with his wife Angie and their two sons, Chad and Chandler, assorted dogs and cats, a bird, some fish, and a guinea pig, since 1990.
